This is a graphite and pastel portrait of my son and daughter (Rhys and Keely) which I did for my Mom on Mother's day. I struggled with hair as I always do and I learned that dry pastel on sketch paper was not the greatest mix.
6B, 3B, HB and 2 H along with some Mungo pastels. Paper towel, brush and kneaded eraser. I lost count of the hours. I just couldn't seem to get on a roll with this one. The subject matter was fine but I just wasn't happy with various aspects for some reason. In the end, I like it and I'm sure my Mother will as well. (I'm late in giving it to her). Anyone with some good hair techniques... I'd love to hear from you. Comments
 Omg, this is so awesome!! I like this so much O_O I could only wish to draw hair like that! cause.. well.. i definitely can't, but this.. I love it!
