Well... I suck at writing a journal, or a blog or anything else. I suppose I just can't be an attention whore as much as I try. lol

2009 .. a new year and much to celebrate and decry.

I've started a course in life drawing. My first 'real' instruction in drawing. I'm pretty much self taught as is pretty obvious. I hope to get a bit more comfortable with the link between my hand and eye which with any luck will translate to my airbrushing.

I've enjoyed the last year on DA.. seen scads of great art and seen a million pieces I would love to render in my own methods. I especially love the work of Anyssa Jordan, Michael Helms and Katy T.

I cannot complain.. family is great, job is good, and I am able to pay my bills. I have my health and I guess in the end, those things are what matters. I am happy and hope that 2009 brings me some more talent or at least the ability to fool people into thinking I have more talent...lol
